"To me, design is the coordination of mind and soul. It is creating a place that fills you with warmth and emotion, while pleasing the sense of sight.

 

I am a young designer, full of energy and fresh ideas. I’ve been with Classic Interiors for over six years and have recently become a partner in the business. I have a Marketing Degree as well as a Design degree. I have designed rooms from the largest of suburban homes, to the smallest spaces in the confines of the city. I love to use an eclectic mix of fabrics and woods to create a livable, cozy, and warm space.

 

Creating a new room, or simply changing an existing space can be overwhelming, but with the help of a designer who understands you, the process can be fascinating and fun."

"My design degree from Michigan State University was very classical in nature, focusing on the architectural elements of form and function. From that I developed a strong belief that if something doesn't work then, no matter how attractive it may be, it will disappoint.

 

My design forte is country French and English and the exciting and fun mixture of Eclectic. Eclectic is the most sought after style as it allows a client to use old family keepsakes mixed with contemporary furnishings and sharp, new paint colors. It's an art and requires careful placement but when done right can create a true statement of the individuals personality.
